Duties include but are not limited too:
- Provide strategic recommendations to the Managing Director
- Provide leadership, direction and management of the Finance, Costing, HR, Payroll, Stores and Services team
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions (this includes tax planning and compliance)
- Ensuring compliance with Companies Act and liaison with company secretaries.
- Investing funds and liaison with banks
- Preparation of weekly cash flow
- Liaison with Insurers
- Approving purchase requisitions
- Review and approval of monthly salaries
Education:- BCom Degree in Accounting/Finance
- BCom Honours in Accounting field
- CIMA Advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:- At least 10 years consistent management experience
- Industry experience: Manufacturing/Mining/ Metal
- Experience with forecasts, budgets and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Pastel advantageous
- Financial acumen
