We are recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer for our client within the Fintech Industry. Role is based in Durban . Responsibilities not limited to : Management of Accounts Department Financial Modelling Direct report to Board of Directors Treasury Management Compliance Management Policy Management Financial Planning and Analysis Overall Financial Management Risk Management Strategic Decision-making Analyzing and preparing financial statements Budget and cost management Requirements: B.Com Accounting or similar Qualified CA(SA) 8 years plus of post qualification experience Strong Pastel experience Experience with multiple accounting software systems Critical to have: Deep understanding of multiple accounting platforms Understand technology enough to automate as much as possible Ability to build and lead a team Ability to do financial modelling Good communication skills, especially at board level Experience with M&A and treasury management preferable Must have compliance and policy management and implementation experience Dedicated, hardworking and highly organized
