A Mining house based in the Northern Cape is looking for an experienced Chief Safety Officer. Duties: Responsible for the investigation and identification of all areas that may influence the safety and health of all employees within a designated area. Qualifications/Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Diploma /NQF Level 6 related to Safety A relevant Mine Health and Safety Qualification (e.g. COMSOC, SAMTRAC) Engineering trade, diploma or degree in Safety Management will be Up to 12 years working experience. 3 Years Opencast mining and plant operational experience. 3 - 5 years Chief Safety Officer experience 3 years working experience within the mining and ore processing environment. A Blasting Ticket will be advantageous.
