Reference: NEL011196-SH-1Our client, a leader in the citrus industry, is seeking a driven and experienced Farm Manager to join their dynamic team. Are you ready to make a real impact on the production of delicious, high-quality fruit? Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of citrus farm operations, from planting and maintenance to harvesting and quality control. Implement strategic plans to maximize yields, optimize resource use, and manage costs effectively. Lead and motivate a team of farmworkers, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor pest and disease control, ensuring compliance with sustainable practices. Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to industry standards. Stay abreast of latest citrus industry trends and advancements. Qualifications: Tertiary education in the agricultural field, ideally with a focus on citrus cultivation. Minimum of 5-10 years' proven experience in the citrus industry, with demonstrably successful leadership experience. In-depth knowledge of citrus establishment, care, and production practices. Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Exceptional time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Computer proficiency in industry-standard software and agricultural applications. Valid driver's license required.
