CITRUS ORCHARD MANAGER - Eshowe

• Matric with mathematics
• Minimum of 10 years management experience in citrus, preferably obtained on more than one farm/location.
• Ability to both compile and work to a budget.
• Previous packhouse experience advantageous
• Experience with Degreening/ Electronic grading/Packing standards/Logistics/working with export agents advantageous
• Computer literate
• Excellent attention to detail with good results at present employer.
• A strong knowledge of production, harvest, irrigation, spraying, pruning, fertilization, and general orchard management.
• Strong Inter person relations with good communication and people skills.
• Ability to work with a large labor force, to motivate and get good productivity
• A strong work ethic and leading by example
• A clear criminal record and with no criminal cases pending.
• Valid drivers license
