We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Design Engineer, with a strong background in solar plants, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in civil engineering, specifically within the context of solar energy projects. You will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of solar power facilities, ensuring they meet all regulatory and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop civil engineering plans for solar power plants, including site layout, grading, drainage, and foundation design. Conduct site assessments to determine suitability for solar projects, considering factors such as topography, soil conditions, and environmental impact. Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate civil design with overall project plans. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Oversee construction activities, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols. Perform quality control and quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle. Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) for design and analysis. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in solar energy and civil engineering. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license advantage. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years focused on solar energy projects. Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools. Strong understanding of solar power systems, including PV technology and solar farm infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
