Construction company in East Rand is looking for the services of a Civil Engineer Qualifications: Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering (Will consider candidates that are working in the industry but are busy with their degree/Diploma) Proficient in construction methodologies with a specialization in reinforced concrete Knowledge of technical drawing, particularly AutoCAD 3D Modeling or Rivit Exceptional report writing abilities, proficient in Excel and AutoCAD or Rivit Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven ability to manage teams effectively Fluency in both Afrikaans and English Possession of a valid driver's license Own Transport Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive site inspections of both new and existing concrete structures Employ advanced non-destructive testing equipment for concrete and sub-surface utility scanning Oversee concrete mix designs, calculations, and reporting processes Provide leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring tasks are completed within budgetary constraints Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for projects Collaborate with management to set and achieve financial targets Stay abreast of the latest developments in civil and structural engineering principles
