Exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer in Secunda Join a well-established Civil & Structural Engineering Company with a proudly African-owned and managed background. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Preparing quotations and tenders for client submission. Managing and executing projects effectively and efficiently. Reviewing drawings and collaborating with stakeholders. Maintaining and developing client relationships. Effective and efficient planning, management, and execution of projects in terms of scope, time, costs, resources and quality. Including changes to project scope. Prepare contract administration documentation based on NEC3/ NEC4 requirements. Must be able to demonstrate strong civil engineering design skills and principles. Execute engineering deliverables to industry standards and client requirements. Review drawings. Manage and work with a project team including sub-contractors and vendors . PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize project delivery. Good planning and organizational skills. Strong civil engineering design skills. REQUIREMENTS: 10 years' experience in civil engineering. BEng/BSc Eng Degree or BTech/Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist at ECSA. Experience in industrial sectors is great advantageous (Oil & Gas, Chemical and mining) Must be an SA Citizen and willing to relocate to Secunda. Market related
