Our client, a multi-disciplinary engineering company, is looking for a Civil Engineer or Technologist to join their team at the Umhlanga office.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in BSc Civ Eng / B Eng (Civils) or B Tech (Civil Eng)Registered or in the process of registering as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng with ECSAIdeal Candidate Profile:Strong leadership skills with a solid technical backgroundMinimum 5 years of technical experience, including 1-2 years in team leadership within a consulting engineering firmExperience in infrastructure design, particularly roads, earthworks, stormwater, and sewer systemsPreferably experience in pump station design for sewer and water supplyAdvantageous to have experience in municipal engineering, housing infrastructure, or industrial sectorsProficient in MS Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D (essential), and familiarity with IDASKnowledge of Hec-ras, GIS, PCSWMM, or similar tools is advantageousStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesAttention to detail with accuracy in workConfident with excellent interpersonal skillsDynamic, driven, and humble attitudeAbility to remain even-tempered and work well within a teamKey Responsibilities:Provide technical expertise on civil engineering projectsDesign technology solutionsManage complete project life cyclesBuild and maintain client and stakeholder relationshipsImplement project-specific controlsMentor junior engineersOther Details:Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to sites within South Africa and Africa as needed.
