RPO Recruitment is currently searching for a dedicated Civil Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable construction company based in Cape Town. As a Civil Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting construction projects and contribute to their success by effectively managing costs and budgets. Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide precise cost forecasts for materials, labor, and equipment Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and assess potential risks, ensuring cost-effective solutions Monitor project progress and financial performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain budget adherence Analyze and validate claims for variations and adjust budgets accordingly Visit project sites regularly to assess actual quantities and site conditions against estimates Compile comprehensive reports on cost variations, project performance, and financial metrics Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field Proven experience as a Civil Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry Strong knowledge of cost control, cost planning, and project management techniques Proficiency in computer-aided estimating software and Microsoft Office suite Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a keen attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively communicate with project stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines Benefits Salary: salary negotiable Training & Development Performance Bonas RPO Recruitment focuses on helping you reach your personal and professional goals by connecting you to your perfect career path.
