Hire Resolve is partnering with a reputable engineering company in search of a Junior Civil Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cape Town. As a Junior Civil Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting with cost estimation, budgeting, and project documentation for various construction projects. Responsibilities Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects Support in the management of quantity surveying tasks, including take-offs and measurements Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective cost control and adherence to project budgets Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts and progress reports Conduct site visits and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as necessary Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field 1-2 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects Experience in civil infrastructure is preferred, but roads and earthworks experience would also be acceptable. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing measurements and calculations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel to project sites as required Benefits Salary : Negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
