Communicating with the client regarding nature of the claim
Interpreting and understanding the insurance policy wording to identify under which sections of the policy the insurance cover falls under
Assisting the client with claim forms, understanding that all the information is properly inserted so that it may be submitted to the company without any prejudice to the client
Following up with companies as to claims progress
Following up with service providers i.e assessors, building contractors, panel beaters, glass fitment centres etc.
Keeping the client informed through all stages of the claim
Maintaining a diary to follow up on claims that are still in progress
Requirements:
At least 1-5 years previous short- term insurance experience
R.E 1 regulatory exams certificate will be beneficial
Any form of short-term product training will be beneficial
Warm and approachable
Enjoys working with people and building relationships
Ability to work as a part of a close knit team
Prefers a family office environment over a corporatised structure
