Purpose: Assist the department in the completion of daily administration duties Ensure the proficient provision of general administrative support services to all departments Ensure that each claim is processed swiftly according to the SLA and ISO process and procedures Issuing claim forms to clients Taking details when a customer reports a claim Provide accurate advice on claims process Receive new claim and notification. Validate claim by checking if cover is in place using policy wording, policy schedule, asset register, proof of premium Gather supporting information or documents from the insured e.g quotation Register municipal, personal, commercial claims received from clients onto the internal claims system Liaise with clients, suppliers and insurers regarding claims, repairs, payments Appoint loss adjusters and or motor vehicle assessors to investigate claim Draft letters agreement of loss, authorisation or within excess Request claims payment from insurers Update and attach information to internal claims system Keep claims registers up to date and distribute to clients monthly Keep spreadsheets up to date as requested by management Process claims according to workflow process, procedure manuals and SLA'S Direct service related queries and complaints to immediate portfolio manager Identify claims trends and uninsured claims and provide information to relationship managers quarterly Referring doubtful, complex and high valued claims to portfolio managers Ensuring good customer service by updating clients weekly both verbally and in writing of the status of the claim Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and clients. Discuss claim with suppliers and repairers Experience 1 Year's working experience in short term insurance industry Qualifications NQF 4 – full qualification – (140 Credits STI) NQF 5 and above advantageous RE 5 Negotiable in accordance to experience and qualifications Apply Now
