Reference: DBN002622-LP-1 An established client in the insurance industry is seeking an experienced Claims Clerk to manage Heavy Commercial Vehicle claims. The role also includes handling commercial and domestic claims to a lesser extent. Based in Essenwood, Durban Key Responsibilities: Claims Management: Handle claims for Heavy Commercial Vehicles. Process commercial and domestic claims when necessary. Ensure accurate and timely claims processing. Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and documentation. Provide updates to clients regarding their claims status. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all claims and related documentation. Prepare and submit reports as required by management. Independent Work: Work independently without supervision. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in claims processing. Proven track record in handling Heavy Commercial Vehicle claims. Minimum qualification of NQF level 4 in short-term insurance. Completed Regulatory Examination (RE) exam. Must have own transport. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must be a qualified representative. Provide the last 5 salary payment advices. Ability to work alone without supervision.
