A contract cleaning company is looking to employ a hardworking cleaner in Simons Town Cape Town.Only responses to recruitmentkleenup.co.za will be responded to.Requirements:Provable cleaning work experience of at least 1 year;A person who stays in Simons Town or close to Simons Town;Available immediately;SkillsShould display professional attitude;Must be presentable;Highly developed communication skills (Written/Verbal/Non-verbal);Good time management skills to efficiently and effectively perform daily duties;Knowledge of different cleaning methods,In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals; Good communication skills;Friendly and efficient while providing a high-quality service;Physical fitness and ability to carry heavy loads and move heavy machinery.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all basic cleaning in and around residences or office buildings;Sweeping and mopping floors of various types;Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets/mattresses/couches, performs further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed;Dusting ceilings, ledges, light fittings, countertops, loose furniture and other hard to reach places;Cleaning restrooms, including restocking dispensers, refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals;Scrubbing and sanitizing sinks, and kitchen fixtures, disinfecting and wiping down surfaces;Cleaning dishes, ovens and appliances;Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes as quickly as possible;Emptying waste bins, carrying the waste bags/bins to collection points, cleaning waste bins and replacing bin liners where needed;Washing and drying windows, mirrors and glass surfaces and ensuring they are free of streaks;Sweeping pavements and picking up litter where required;Liaising with the supervisor to ensure sufficient cleaning products are available at all times and ordering new cleaning supplies as needed; Maintaining a high level of precaution while cleaning costly articles;Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process;Ensuring that safety precautions are taken by following all health and safety standards and wearing PPE at all times; Using general cleaning equipment and chemicals as per instructions by supplier;Performing basic maintenance activities on all cleaning machinery, immediately reporting repairs and replacements that are needed and ensuring safe storage of the equipment;Coordinating and working in relation with other cleaners;Participating in all relevant training as required;Performing any additional duties as required by the employer
