Reference: PTA001348-ZS-1Clearing Agent: Our freight transporting client, based in the Industrial Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, is currently recruiting for an on-the-ball Clearing Agent. The suitable candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Minimum Requirements: Matric. Must have own vehicle and valid Driver’s License. Essential: Previous experience dealing with Border Documentation. Beneficial: Experience working on EasyClear and/or Assycuda. Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for exporting documents. In charge of invoice administration regarding the receipt, copying, and distribution. Manage the declaration of all road transporting documentation. Responsible for submitting border documentation to SARS customs. Tasked with preparing and verifying the manifest, VAT payments, and permits for Drivers before departure. Manage and resolve Driver or document queries during transport or border checks. Implement knowledge of Namibian border control documentation. Perform ad-hoc administrative and client services. This position will be reporting to the Depot Manager.
