Our clients are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Vehicle Monitoring Clerk/Controller to join their team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and tracking the movement of vehicles, ensuring compliance with schedules, and maintaining accurate records of vehicle activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with drivers and team members. Monitor and track the movement of vehicles using GPS tracking systems. Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations, routes, and activities. Coordinate with drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and routes. Communicate with drivers regarding any deviations from planned routes or schedules. Report any incidents or issues related to vehicle operations to management. Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize vehicle utilization. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to vehicle operations. Assist in the development and implementation of vehicle monitoring protocols and procedures. Generate reports on vehicle activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance. Provide support to drivers and other staff members as needed High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in vehicle monitoring, logistics, or a related field preferred. Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and vehicle monitoring software. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required. Knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance standards
