Reference: PTA001213-TR-1 A well-established London based firm, specialising in corporate finance, tax and accounting is seeking a dynamic Finance Client Adviser, to deliver accounting and compliance services to their portfolio of high-clients and to prepare and review management accounts, with the aim to assist clients in making better decisions and achieving their goals. This is a hybrid role, with offices in Stellenbosch, offering international opportunities as well Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a relevant Accountancy qualification Minimum 3 years' experience within an accounting firm or accounting role will be required Must have previous experience in producing management accounts and VAT returns Strong accounting knowledge, in particular the requirements of FRS 102 is important for this role Advanced computer literacy, especially in the use of Xero and Excel is essential Must have attention to detail and the ability to manage workloads under stringent deadlines Above-average communication skills, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, including Line Managers and Clients, will be required Must be willing to learn new systems and processes and have the ability to train others on accounting systems and add-ons The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing clients' expectations and delivering up to date financials and compliance filings on time, every time. Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, management reporting, CIS returns and P11D's. Reviewing work from the Data Processor prior to publishing it within Xero or relevant accounting system. Performing bookkeeping and data processing functions. Setting up Xero and relevant accounting application and providing the required training. Preparing and reviewing budgets and forecasts. Managing the Data Processor and providing training as required. Driving ‘Continuing Professional Development' and ongoing training. Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive client data. Collaborating with other team members in order to meet deadlines. Identifying opportunities to improve/streamline internal processes.
