The Opportunity The Client Partner opportunity at Electrum presents a chance to play a pivotal role in establishing Electrum Payments as a strategic technology partner for a major client, specifically a large listed bank in South Africa. As a Client Partner, you would be responsible for leading and coordinating the pre-sales process for a customised software solution. The goal is to ensure that the solution aligns seamlessly with the bank's needs and objectives. This role involves building and nurturing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders within the bank, gaining a deep understanding of their challenges, and fostering collaboration. As part of the programme, you will also drive the pre-sales activities, starting from the initial discovery phase, requirements gathering, scoping, through to the development of proposal and the ultimate delivery thereof. This engagement is focused on key logos within the Total Addressable Market (TAM), adding strategic importance to the role. By seizing this opportunity, you will not only contribute to Electrum's growth but also gain invaluable insights into the financial services landscape. This includes actively shaping Electrum's future offerings, making a tangible impact on the lives of millions of South Africans by facilitating access to features and digital goods and services through next generation payment technology solutions. Requirements What you’ll need Essential requirements for this position are: Relevant tertiary qualification Proven program and project management experience Previous experience engaging with enterprise clients Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong data analysis skills using Google sheets, Excel, SQL or similar Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to position technical solutions in a business context Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Addressing clients needs creatively Prioritise tasks efficiently Build and nurture professional relationships Increase your odds by having Strong understanding of the financial services domain and technology landscape Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with executives Deep understanding of the SaaS business model, principles, processes and metrics Experience in Fintech, SaaS, and the banking environment Benefits Benefits and a bit about our culture A good work-life balance is very important at Electrum.
