To be responsible for managing the day-to-day running and delivery of projects for Data & Analytics by consistently applying project management knowledge, skills and personal characteristics to deliver projects that meet stakeholder/client requirements Working at NTT Key Roles and Responsibilities: Provide pre-sales support There is an expectation for the Senior Project Manager to engage with the Pre-Sales & Sales teams in order to adequately scope and cost project solutions. The pre-sales scoping of the project would involve the completion of a proposal that includes the detailed task schedule, resource allocation and cost breakdown. Identify opportunities During project delivery or client engagement, the Senior TSProject Manager is expected to identify opportunities and influence the sale by conducting a business conversation with the client and positioning Dimension Data's consulting and technical services offerings. Manage Project Risks Effectively identify, analyse, weigh and select action plans to counter risks affecting the project success (Risk response plan) Aid team in identifying potential risks as and when the need arises. Successfully manage conflicts between members of the team Effectively solve problems that arise during a project. Effectively manage in order to minimise any and all risk and exposure to DIMENSION DATA on a project. Manage Human Resources Build an effective project management team in order to ensure the successful completion of the project with the required quality deliverables in the time allowed. Effectively manage the group's dynamics in order to ensure that the team works harmoniously and delivers successfully. Regularly review the status reports of team members Manage Communication with Stakeholders, Clients and Team Members Facilitate team and client meetings effectively. Hold regular status meetings with project team. Keep project team well informed of any and all changes that affect them. Manage and execute Project Administration Successfully document all processes through minutes of meetings, progress reports, project plans and appropriate information collection, storage and transferring to ensure all stakeholders are up to date. Ensure that processes and milestones are well documented. Ensure that detailed records are kept safe (copies made, updated regularly and stored in a safe place) Ensure that all paperwork is up to date and accurate. Administration and maintenance of contracts Capture and approved timesheets weekly. Manage Internal Operations Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes as well as possible solutions. Effectively comply with and help to enforce standard policies and procedures. Financial Management Liaise with DIMENSION DATA PFA(Project financial Admin) to ensure Project sales contract is loaded Monitor and report on Project Financials Define invoice intervals i.e. milestone, monthly. Ensure invoicing occurs. Report on Project Financial Health Close Project Ensure project outcomes are accepted and resources released Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects from initiation to completion Ability to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients Excellent client-centricity skills and ability to work at client sites Ability to manage customer satisfaction, commitment, and expectations to high service levels and manage escalations adequately Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent team-building skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously Good business acumen and commercial skills Passionate, strong initiative, self-driven with a commitment to succeed Good influencing ability whilst taking a collaborative approach Decisive with good attention to detail ability Ability to promote project services to both internal stakeholders and external clients Competent in project change management Familiarity with the industry, domain, or technology related to the client's project Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address issues that may arise during project implementation Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Project Management degree or equivalent with a relevant related experience Relevant project management certifications preferably PMP ITIL certification is preferable Agile Certificate Prince 2 Foundation MS Project 13 Required Experience: Seasoned project management experience preferably in a multinational professional services environment Seasoned client engagement experience Demonstrated understanding of the project life cycle Demonstrated competency in project change management Seasoned experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints Skills Summary Business Acumen, Cost Management, IT Infrastructure Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance (QA), Resource Management, Software Systems, Systems Integration, Writing Technical Documents What will make you a good fit for the role?
