Cloud Engineer - Midrand

SoluGrowth is looking for an analytical and innovative Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud computing applications and data management systems for both Solugrowth and Clients. The ideal candidate should have experience in supporting medium to large networks; data center management; cloud infrastructure management; worked with various networking tools and protocols; a good understanding of network security; and a desire to stay current with new technology solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, MS Azure, Huawei Cloud, Google Cloud). Maintain and build scripts to manage the cloud infrastructure and server instances. Conduct short-term and long-term network architecture planning to meet current and expanding business requirements. Provide top level network support within defined SLAs. Work with the Information Security and Software Development departments to design an operating environment and data flow that is secure. Strong creativity, problem solving skills and ability to apply original thinking to produce new ideas and innovative solutions to operational activities. QUALIFICATIONS • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Similar EXPERIENCE Hands-on experience with any Open or Private Cloud Infrastructure deployment and support using the following services: WebApps App service environment Function Apps Logic Apps App insights API managements Load Balancers Traffic Managers Event Hub
