CNC Machinist - Pretoria
CNC SETTING AND PROGRAMMING ESSENTIAL
Key Performance Area:
- Manufacture / machine and modify Tools, Jigs and Dies to supply the internal/external customer with the recquired production and according to standards.
Knowledge & skills required:
- Have a good understanding of different types of CNC operations (Function).
- Ensure that tools are manufactured/machine within company meet Quality Standards and / or according to relevant works instruction.
- Must be able to write small programmes within the controller, be able to set up jobs on machine independantly, able to read and analyse 3D and 2D drawings.
- Clear understanding of machine speed and feed.
- Participate actively in departmental team meetings, prioritize work allocated for machining.
- Problem solving.
- Self driven.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience Required:
- Grade 12 / N3
- Qualified Toolmaker
- Minimum 1 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 1 years Toolroom experience.
- CNC lathe (Haas or Fanuc Controls)
- CNC Programming (Masteram or Edgemcam or simular)
- Manual milling
- Manual lathe
