The company wishes to appoint a CNC Programmer/Setter within the Machine shop department. Duties of the position include, amongst others : Ensure all operational equipment on assigned lines are fully utilized during production hours. Output Targets / Operator efficiency is achieved on all machines. Carbide and Tooling usage controlled and improved. Reporting and accountability for production results. Assist with continuous improvement projects as required. Create and maintain CNC programs. Testing of new cutters when required. A safe working environment and zero injuries The incumbent must have: A minimum of a Grade 12. At least two years' experience in a Machining environment. Experience on Edgecam, Heidenhain and Fanuc advantageous. Experience in use of manual measuring equipment, MSA, root cause analysis and problem solving. Must have CNC experience and strong communication skills. Good numeracy and literacy skills. Strong disciplined approach to completing tasks, decision-making and target driven. Maximum R110 P/H (dependent on experience)
