Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Responsibilities: Set up CNC machines Load materials into the machine, adjust machine settings, and perform calibration checks to ensure precise cutting and shaping of parts. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality production. Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production. Maintain a clean and safe work area, following company safety protocols and procedures. Document production activities and maintain records of machine maintenance and tool changes. Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize production processes and achieve production goals. Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Venuk , Victor and doosan machine will be an added advantage Someone from a hydraulic or mining background willb be an added advantage . Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines (e.g., CNC mills, lathes, grinders). Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and quality control skills. Knowledge of machine tools and their applications. Good understanding of machining principles and processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
