A leading furniture manufacturer for over 25 years supplying many of the countries leading furniture retail stores. The Company has an exciting vacant for a chargehand who will be responsible for Boring department immediately. Do you want to join a company that is not just about numbers but about understanding opportunity? Control Boring CNC machines and similar drilling or KDT machine. Program CNC boring Machine for through-feed and CNC Set-up, calibration, and maintenance of machinery and other tools. Ability to design CNC Programs on existing KDT machines. Completion of job cards and dimension reports Set machines to bore as per CAD drawings Performs checks on equipment to maintain efficient and safe operations and reports and deficiencies. Keeps work area safe and clean. Have previous experience in operating a Through-Feed Boring machine (through CNC boring and or KDT machine) and computer literate N3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or electronic engineering or Experience in furniture industry on CNC machines Good communication skills in English. Be able to work without supervision. Numeracy skills. Matric Maths Computer knowledge is a beneficiary. Leadership qualities an advantage Salary of R12500 – R25000 dependent on experience
