VACANCY NOTIFICATION Position : TECHNICAL & COMMERCIAL ANALYST (Head Office) Location: Tshipi é Ntle Manganese Mining, Bryanston, Johannesburg VACANY STATUS PUBLISHED DATE 03 May 2024 CLOSING DATE 10 May 2024 POSITION DESCRIPTION TECHNICAL & COMMERCIAL ANALYST (Head Office) Johannesburg with some travel to the Northern Cape from time to time) PATTERSON GRADING D Lower REPORTING TO CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER DIRECT REPORTS N/A PURPOSE OF THE JOB Support and provide technical, commercial, analytical and reporting support to the Chief Operations Officer and his team. This role forms part of the Operations, Projects and Supply (OPS) team, and as such supports the work of the OPS leadership team in delivering to the agreed operating plans. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Supporting the Chief Operations Officer and his team in the following areas: • Assist COO with the development and implementation of the annual OPS planning and review cycle. • Assist the OPS teams in developing and implementing coordinated OPS integrated reports to meet the monthly and quarterly stakeholder requirements (Exco, Committees and Board) • Provide technical and administrative support to the COO and Head of Projects on strategic business projects. • Assist the COO in developing and implementing cross departmental work rhythms and routines (cadence/organisational wiring) • Support Logistics, Supply and Projects in the development and management of the functional business risk registers. • Provide analytical support to commercial/supply for various sourcing strategies. • Assist the Head of Project in coordinating and reporting as part of the projects steering committee. • Support implementation of OPS improvement initiatives (e.g., dashboard roll-out) • Provide administrative and analytical support to the COO in key external stakeholder engagements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED • Bachelor of Science Degree in any Engineering field or a financial degree qualification within Business Accounting, Finance, Economics • Business improvement (e.g. Lean or six sigma) qualification will be an added advantage.
