An exciting opportunity has opened up, our client within the Renewable Energy sector is currently seeking a Commercial Manager. Requirements: At least BSc Engineering qualification 5 Years in commercial activities for utility scale solar PV projects Fluent in English Be familiar with the local content policy, mechanism and score for utility scale solar PV project in South Africa Job Responsibilities: Establish and maintain the relationship with the local financial party and government departments Expediting the owner or the relevant local authorities to issue permit documents, project confirmation letters, withdraw letters of guarantee and collection of settlement Be responsible for marine and customs clearance related work Participate in the project handover meeting, assist the project manager to analyse the development data and clarify project related issues Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences Negotiate the best contracts to ensure maximum profitability Salary: Negotiable (Depends on skillset & experience) If you do not hear from us within 2 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful or alternatively send your CV to recruitmentjelocorp.com for possible employment opportunities.
