Reference: JHB004669-Maris-1A well-established manufacturing company based in Midrand is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to join their team Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience as a Commercial Sales Manager that has an aggressive and enthusiastic sales approach Needs to be able to think outside the box, work in and manage a sales team and have experience with sales and interaction with neighbour countries in Africa. Specifically, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Zambia and Mauritius Experience in B2B sales and similar commercial environment or technical environment Experience of OEM markets advantageous but not essential Successful B2B sales Strong leadership skills Team management experience Responsibilities: Develop and maintain key prospect lists and drive to convert these in to customers Provide a monthly report to senior management and directors on order intake, month forecast, key prospect update, other sales activity and market information Maintain up to date comprehensive market information / Intelligence and feed this in to the business Lead and drive customer negotiations and contract discussions Manage business Development team Work to achieve and succeed pre-agreed sales and growth targets within geographical territories New business and maximising existing revenue streams through high performance sales and excellent account management, with a view to building long term profitable relationships Contribute to the development and implementation of sales plans for the business and geographical territories Meeting and exceeding business objectives, including conversion targets and lead generation Continually striving for new ways to increase the opportunities of sales and leads Manage customer concerns and resolve issues effectively Create effective working relationships with sales & service department Develop effective working relationships with other team members, internal departments and sister companies Maintain accurate customer records and sales development activities. Also to participate in regular housekeeping as required Participate in team briefings and communicate with team members to address issues and develop a wider range of skills Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills Provide additional support for the BD team when required Liaise closely with the Development team and demand planning to develop new products and range expansion ideas R420 000 - R500 000 - Annually Apply Now
