Requirements:

Matric and Diploma in Shipping, Clearing and Freight Forwarding, Distribution and/or Logistical will be beneficial
Minimum 2 years experience in related field
Ability to work all hours and from home when needed
Understand shipping freight and other charges in the industry
Resilient to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Have working knowledge of Google / Excel and email etiquette

Responsibilities:
To oversee impromptu rate demands really, mentioning purchasing rates from transportation lines when required
To obtain monthly buying rates while adhering to the necessary deadlines
To demand month to month BAF refreshes
To refresh inside and remotely on BAF and Period change over assigned vessels pertinent
To refresh selling group of any specially appointed and month to month rate changes or overcharges
Ask for, catch and oversee transporter haulage rates
As needed, request, record, and manage shipping line destination charges
To handle transporting line solicitations, checking solicitations against quotes got
To handle cold store solicitations got
To refresh pertinent changes and notification in our frameworks, as gotten from the business
To regard all data as classified
