If you have a Technical background - preferable with a diesel trade and have worked in the Commercial trucking sector, with truck part experience and worked in or managed a warranty department within this sector, then you need to apply for this position. Purpose Of The Job: The Aftersales Manager is responsible for managing the Tactical, Warranty and Parts (PDC) Departments on a National scale, while offering support to the Cross Border market. Reports to: CEO Remuneration: Between R35 000.00 – R50 000.00 dependent on skill set, knowledge, and experience Travel Allowance Cell phone Allowance Medical aid Provident fund Duties: Included but not limited to : Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive national after-sales strategy to optimize customer satisfaction, loyalty and profitability Service Network Optimization: Evaluate and enhance the service network, ensuring efficient coverage to meet the customer needs while maximizing operational effectiveness Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control measures for service and parts, ensuring compliance with company standards and Industry regulations Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with key clients, addressing their concerns promptly and working to exceed their expectations Revenue Growth: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities or upselling services and parts, contributing to overall revenue growth Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of after sales teams, keeping them abreast of the latest industry technologies and trends Data Analysis: Utilize data and performance metrics to evaluate aftersales operations, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for the aftersales department, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability Compliance: Ensure that all aftersales activities comply with relevant regulations, standards and safety protocols Requirements Matric, plus qualification in business or engineering or related field will be advantageous Must have OEM experience in similar position Stable work history Experience with Daimler, Iveco, Isuzu, Scania, UD and Volvo will be beneficial Minimum 5 – 8 years proven experience in similar role in Commercial Industry Code 8 Licence Strong Reporting and Presentation skills In-depth knowledge of aftersales operations, service and warranty processes and parts management Results-orientated Focused on Customer Satisfaction and business growth Analytical skills for date interpretation Candidates from All brands are encouraged to apply (Merc, Scania, Volvo, Iveco, UD, Isuzu, JAC etc. Only candidates that meet the criteria will be shortlisted and contacted If you have not heard from us within 14 days from submission of your CV to us, you can assume you have not been successful Only candidates with Automotive Industry experience will be considered and contacted unless otherwise stipulated If you are interested and have the required SKILLS and EXPERIENCE according to the job spec, please UPLOAD your current, updated CV on our Website using the following link: https://selectmotor.co.za/job-application/ For further information please feel free to contact Hayley at Select Motor Recruitment 011 615 7747 or Hayleyselectmotor.co.za Applications should be submitted no later than Wednesday, 24th January 2024 Apply Now
