Reference: Cen000295-ST-2Company Engineer - mechanical engineering - Wadeville JOB PURPOSETo lead and manage engineering legal compliance, maintenance and project activities of the manufacturing / supply chain facilities of all sites, in line with the agreed standards and targets. JOB KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible as company GMR(2) appointee to ensure sites & activities complies with legal regulations under SA law and Company standards. Responsible for company Engineering KPI’s and impact on O.E.E performance Responsible for company annual maintenance budget. Responsible for company capital budget and project activities Responsible to develop, monitor and manage all engineering contractors against set standards. Play an active role in EHS, TPM and Quality systems, procedures and continuous improvement activities. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (min: 7 years maintenance management experience in chemical or related industry) or Btech / NHD in Mechanical Engineering with Government Certificate and 10 years Maintenance management experience. Have a track record in managing GMR(2) appointee activities. Demonstrate effective engineering maintenance and project management skills. Develop an effective network of suppliers and contractors for both sites. Goals orientated person who is capable to introduce process improvements and has capability to coach others. Must have Scada / PLC troubleshooting knowledge. Good communication, report writing and computer skills OTHER REQUIREMENTS Prepared to travel to KZN site. After-hours callout maybe required as part of the role. R 60000 - R 70000 - Monthly plus medical Aid and Provident and 13th cheque
