Our client is seeking a Compiler / Accounts to join their team, based in Queenstown.

Successful candidate will need to be process and system driven and have a real passion for finance and problem solving.

Minimum Requirements:-

Matric
BCom Degree or equivalent
Financial Accounting qualification
Financial Completed Articles
Knowledge of GAAP / IFRS
Proficient in MS Excel and fast learner of new systems
Good knowledge of Caseware Working Papers
Attention to detail and a good understanding of and actioning financial transactions

Duties:-

Produce monthly management statements
Review VAT reconciliations and VAT returns
Prepare working files for Annual Independent Review and Annual Audit for the external auditors
Attend to tax computation for all group entities
Updated Fixed Asset Registers
Review, identify and resolve abnormal General Ledger entries
Liaise and work closely with bookkeepers
Time to time processing and retrieve reports from Xero
Ad-hoc tasks as required
