Our client, a Fruit Farm in Hoedspruit, has a vacancy for an HR Compliance Manager to join their team. The HR-Compliance Manager shall be responsible for ensuring overall HR coordination, development and implementation of the human resources strategy, health and safety compliance policies and ensure that the process flows are successfully implemented within the North farming business divisions. A. Recruitment, Onboarding and Orientation Develop and review effective recruitment strategies - standard operating procedures and orientation programs for smooth integration of new employees Support recruitment process, from job advertising, interview guidelines to onboarding the new employee B. Talent Management Strategic Development of Key Performance Indicator system Develop and support the implementation of the performance management and appraisal systems Provide guidance on performance goal setting, performance feedback, and improvement plans Collaborate with managers on solutions to address performance issues and recognize achievements Providing training and development opportunities for HR professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge. Ensure a pipeline of talent for critical roles within the organization C. Training Coordination of training programs and service providers to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Strategic development of training plans within business division D. Compliance Develop, implement, and communicate HR, Health and Safety policies and procedures that comply with legislative requirements and support organizational objectives. Ensure entire HR Compliance process flow is implemented i.e. standardisation & annual review of seasonal and permanent employee inductions, job descriptions and employment contracts in line with compliance operational requirements and legislation Ensuring HR and Compliance practices comply with labour laws, regulations and statutory reporting Manage Compliance Audits such as Global Gap, Tesco Nurture, FSMA, Albert Heijn, SIZA, WIETA, etc Develop Employment Equity strategy with EE committee, continuously communicate and review EE goals and targets E. Employee Engagement and Well-being Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Implement initiatives to promote a positive work culture. Recommend events and activities that foster team building and collaboration. F. HR Governance Develop HR Strategy and successful implementation in all northern farming divisions Ensure consistent application and compliance with HR Process Flow Review and analyse HR metrics, such as turnover rates, time to hire, and employee satisfaction. Reporting on overall HR Governance and Compliance Risk Management Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of HR governance practices and making improvements as necessary.
