Compliance Officer (Governmental) - Johannesburg
To ensure compliance with the Act and regulations of the entity and support enforcement action against individuals who do not comply or have contravened the provisions and any other legislation governing the sector. Responsibilities include: Monitoring and enforcing compliance with legislation to ensure protection. Manage building conditions inspections and audits. Reporting non-compliance. Conduct compliance awareness training. Drafting compliance reports. Bid committees. Attend board meetings. Complaints management. Stakeholder engagement and management. Requirements: Law degree (or equivalent). Compliance management qualification (advantageous). Previous work experience within regulatory environment. Advanced Excel proficiency. Strong analytical skills. Report writing. Strong legal research and interpretation skills.
