Reference: NFR004239-CAY-1 A successful organization in the financial services industry, committed to providing innovative solutions and exceptional service to their clients, is eagerly looking for a Centre Compliance Specialist to join their team and help with maintaining the highest standards of regulatory adherence and ethical conduct. As a Centre Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our financial services operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Duties and Responsibilities Include: Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry standards. Ensure that our policies and procedures reflect current requirements. Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Identify and assess potential compliance risks within our operations. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Improve and deliver training programs to educate employees about compliance requirements and best practices. Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and regulatory correspondence. Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory authorities and senior management. Requirements: Related Degree or IISA Licentiate/Associate - Legal or Auditing Degree (preferred) NQF7 Compliance Management Certificate (Advantageous) Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in Business Compliance in Financial Services Good understanding and experience in Business Processes environment, e.g. claims, sales, and distributions Knowledge on FAIS, FICA, long and short-term insurance Acts, POPIA and Pension Fund Act Strong verbal communications and report writing skills Apply now: If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
