Consolidate and track timelines, plans, and cost estimates for various events in collaboration with team members. Delight guests with trendsetting and innovative ideas, ensuring outstanding service experiences. Assess and manage venue inventory to optimize event business across conferencing and event facilities, maximizing revenues. Ensure staff are trained to deliver world-class service to guests. Lead and inspire a team, fostering teamwork, personal accountability, staff engagement, and retention. Manage staff processes including personal presentation, recruitment, performance, and conduct. Requirements: Matric (High School Diploma) A relevant tertiary qualification from a recognized South African or International Educational Institution is advantageous. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in a busy, high-demand environment. Competencies: Excellent communication skills Proactive, decisive, innovative, and committed to quality Client-focused with market orientation Solid financial and business acumen Excellent Conferencing & Events knowledge Strategic insight with strong planning and implementation skills Own transport required
