Description: Hire Resolve's client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Construction Estimator in Pretoria . We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of construction projects and providing timely and competitive bids to clients Responsibilities: - Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and materials required - Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment - Develop competitive bid proposals for construction projects - Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely bids - Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle - Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions - Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed Requirements: - Relevant Site Construction experience is needed - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry - Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, or RSMeans - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Professional certification (e.g. Certified Professional Estimator) is a plus Contact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.
