- Matric.
- Valid trade test with statement of results. - Boilermaker
- Must be medically fit.
- 5 years experience or more in the plant environment will be advantageous.
- Legal liability for supervisors/managers.
- POLC certificate or Project Construction Management certificate.
- Strategic management.
- Maintain proper utilisation of both equipment and people reporting to him
Primary component supply and capabilities are:
- Structural Steel Manufacturing.
- Platework Fabrication.
- Mechanical Support Fabrication.
- Pressure Vessels and Pressure Piping Fabrication.
- Pipe and Fitting Fabrication, Mild/Carbon/Stainless Steel.
- Hardwearing Plates.
- HDPE Piping & Fittings.
- SMPP Turnkey Project work including civils.
- Green & Brownfields Work.
- Furnace Steelwork, fabrication and Installation.
- (fabrication and installation)
- Fibre and Galvanised Grating.
- Corrosion Protection to customer specifications.
Duties will include but is not limited to:
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew.
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities.
- Supervise and train workers and artisans.
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate.
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget.
- Resolve problems when they arise.
- Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
