Reference: NES017858-RS-1We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee our construction projects The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP). This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor construction progress and quality, conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues or delays that arise. Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements. Prepare and submit progress reports, budget updates, and other documentation to project stakeholders. Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork among project team members. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members, promoting professional growth and development. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) as a Professional Construction Manager (Pr.CM) or Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr.CPM). Proven experience as a Construction Manager, with a track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and build relationships with stakeholders. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
