As a Construction Manager at The Construction Co , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Ensure project execution according the best quality, within time and cost frameworks. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. Follow-up on leads with subcontractors, suppliers and information from clients and consultants. Manage Site Team and production. Overall Site Quality; Building Quality and Workmanship. Ensure the site establishment is secured at all times, relevant Storeman with an honest perception is appointed, security placed at entrances and tracking of delivery vehicles. Ensure OHS is key to a fully compliant site. Managing day to day tasks of site through foreman and sub-contractors. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones. Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and regulations. Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, working proactively to find solutions and keep projects on track. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, including progress, budget, and any issues or risks. Advanced Diploma OR Degree in building. Professionally registered with the SACPCMP. 5-10 Years Construction Management Experience. Proven experience in construction management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Commitment to safety and quality.
