Namlog seeks experienced individual is to ensure that the Contracts In-house operations are run in accordance with Namlog and customers policies and procedures at all times. Develop and implement business strategies and processes that will improve the efficiency and profitability of the accounts. Responsible for the operational side of the business and ensuring the In-houses meet or exceed our customer's service level agreements. Handle all HR issues and ensure the discipline of the In-house employees. Ensure the operational requirements, image and neatness of the In-house's, vehicles and that subordinates meet with company and customer standards. Accountable for the In-house assets and equipment. Respond to all client queries timeously and to notify management of any issues raised by the customer. Seek alternative business opportunities to improve business profitability. Accountable for overall administrative functions of the In-houses such as daily/weekly/monthly KPI reports, submission of overtime schedules, and discrepancy reports. Analyze all aspects of logistics to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting products and supplies. Direct inbound and outbound logistics operation, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, and quality management. Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes and mixes and carriers. Assist in developing and managing the operations budgets. Participate in the development of new project proposals. To build client relationships by acting as the interface between the client and operational teams within the company. The goal is to maintain the company's existing relationship with the clients, so that they will continue using the company for business. Overseeing management of administrative duties concerning: Human Resources, including: Leave applications, Overtime, Attendance, Discipline, Management of Labour Broker Integrate and manage the operational MIS with day to day, weekly and monthly evaluation of:, Quality and productivity.Line Haul departures and arrivals, Maintenance of the Contracts dedicated fleet, Vehicle performance with regards to operational efficiencies, Driver performances, Fuel consumption,Drivecam evaluation. Fleet Management:Ensure vehicle planned maintenance and services are completed with no over runs, Manage breakdowns and services with minimal downtime per vehicle, Maintain vehicle aesthetics, and schedule repairs were necessary, Ensure Drivecam units are positioned correctly and camera lenses are clean and free from any obstruction, Ensure vehicles are fit and in a road worthy condition before dispatch, Ensure daily sign-off of pre & post vehicle check lists. Matric Tertiary Qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Minimum of 10 years' experience in the transport industry, with at least 5 years in management position. Availability to assist outside of normal working hours. Valid driver's licence and with own transport. Fully computer literate, aptitude for technology and systems driven. Experience in Urgent, Express and Cross Border Road freight experience. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframe and simultaneously manage several projects. Strong interpersonal and business communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to work in a pressurized environment, superior planning and execution skills. High Levels of attention to detail. Local Regulations, Compliance Management and Investigation Knowledge. Management of Health and Safety Knowledge. Total Quality Management and Internal Audit Compliance Knowledge.
