Receive, action, control Import /Export instructions and open vessel folders; Control, action, container movement instructions and rail tracking; Print CTOs, as per delivery instructions received from consignees, and submitting it to Cartage Department; Monitor evacuations, by checking with container departments and providing regular updates of possible delays to services; Performing inventory checks of CT' and CDs to ensure that all planned deliveries have been actioned and ensure empties have been turned into the nominated Container Depot; Imbalance reporting; Monitor float stock requirements and long stays on Depot; Invoicing – charge advice In bound and Out bound movements; Export/Import and FTO's pre capping; Complete vessels check lists, do filing, prepare weekly & monthly statistics; Provide pre-carriage quotations to clients, and other departments /regions; Updating/pre-advising Navis; Receive information via Import Container Lists (ICLs) & other sources, and open vessel folders; Print Container Terminal Orders (CT (CTOs) as per delivery instructions received from consignees, via Inward Freight Department, and submitting it to the nominated transporters; Monitor deliveries by checking available tracking resources, to inform clients of possible delays to services; Performing inventory checks of CTs & CDs to ensure that all planned deliveries have been actioned & that empties have turned into the nominated CDs; Check correspondence to ensure that costs are recovered from the parties concerned, including costs associated with special services rendered; Adhere to prescribed procedures when arranging delivery of abnormal cargo (i.e., Hazardous); Understand & implement MSC SA Landside Tariff and 3 rd party Tariffs (i.e., TPT, TNPA, etc.); Complete vessels check list, do filing, prepare weekly & monthly statistics; Complete Accounts related documentation/queries & authorize 3 rd party invoices; Provide on-carriage quotations to clients, overseas agents, and other departments/regions; Preparation of system adjustments and zone code applications; Reconciliation of transporters invoices weekly / monthly; Check supplier invoices for payments and ensure that costs are recovered from parties concerned including costs associated with special services rendered. Atleast 2 to 3 years experience as a Controller in a Logistics business Logistics knowledge essential Methodical and reliable Computer literate Proven communication and interpersonal skills
