Controller (Junior) Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company which develops, produces and sells Health & Medical, Consumer Tissue and Professional Hygiene products and solutions and has a strong global presence. We are looking for a Controller (Junior) who will be responsible for controlling responsibilities in our Pinetown manufacturing plant, South Africa. About the Role As a Controller (Junior), you will support and facilitate the decision-making process of the team by providing sound financial and business insight. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of the controlling processes in the plant and for the preparation of regular updates. If this is you, we'd love to talk. What You Will Do Close monthly actuals according to the accounting standards, analyzing gaps and deviations, and drive corrective actions if necessary. Report monthly closing and follow up on main KPIs. Deliver annual financial Budget and quarterly forecast. Follow-up Working Capital. Challenge and support the local management team and other departments in day-to-day activities and in all financial aspects. You will play key role of communication and discussion with Team members and other financial functions in the company. Set up monthly final account for the Site, in accordance with local statutory and Essity PC’s instructions and guidelines. Continuously analyze deviations of financial result, support to drive and follow up actions to improve financial results. Responsible for Capex follow-up and ownership of plants assets regarding content and valuation Responsible for driving long term strategy goals, yearly budget, forecast and AP-process. Secure that reporting rules being maintained and followed. Follow controlling standards and other Essity policies such as MICR and legal regulations. Who You Are University degree in Finance; CA(SA) is an added advantage Must have at least 1-2 years in Finance/Controlling in a manufacturing environment Must be proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
