Description IGrow Wealth Investments, South Africa's 1 Property Investment Company, is looking for a Conveyancing Attorney to join their team in Cape Town . To qualify for this position, you need: LLB degree Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer Admitted conveyancer with a minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience practicing as a conveyancer post admission Proficiency in the use of software programmes, specifically Lexis Nexis Convey and Microsoft Excel Experience in executing deeds in the deed's office Experience in mortgage bonds Knowledge of Conveyancing and Development Finance Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving and acting on instructions to attend to conveyancing and associated matters. Drafting various conveyancing documents accurately and independently. Assist with FICA compliance. Provide paralegals and legal assistants with legal and conveyancing assistance. Liaising with clients, developers, city councils, SARS, managing agents, banks, and linked attorney firms. Preparing and checking documents for lodgement, ensuring all conditions are met and processes followed for transactions to be registered successfully at the relevant Deeds Registry. Checking all financial aspects of transactions, including pro-forma and final reconciliation statements of account. Execution of deeds in the deed's office. Provide regular feedback on progress to developers and purchasers.
