Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing medium-sized wholesale/ manufacturing company with a national presence, is on the lookout for a talented Junior Cost & Management Accountant to join their team in Alrode, Gauteng As part of their growth strategy, they're seeking an individual who's passionate about accounting and eager to dive into all facets of their accounting and administrative processes. Reporting directly to the owner, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with their finance team, gaining invaluable experience and contributing to their continued success.What You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in accounting (BCom, CMA). 2-4 years of experience in a Cost and Management Accounting environment. (E-Commerce experience is highly desirable) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Experience in spares inventory control. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. What You'll Do: Prepare monthly financial reports, including cost reports, income statements, and balance sheets. Assist in the preparation of monthly Spares & product order worksheets. Support the Finance Manager with key account reconciliations. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient inventory counts. Manage their asset register with precision. Collaborate in the preparation of operational sales and cost budgets on an annual basis. Conduct regular variance analysis to ensure optimal cost management.
