Cost AND Management Accountant - Johannesburg

We have a fantastic FMCG industry client looking for their next Cost and Management Accountant. This role is located in JHB. Responsibilities Support budgeting and funding Assist the company in managing its investment portfolio Assume responsibility for accounting procedures Evaluate the company's performance using key data Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making Advise on problems and suggest improvements Supervise lower-level personnel Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database Construct data accumulation systems Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs) Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies Assisting in month-end and year-end closing Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions Requirements: Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting Excellent knowledge of risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office A problem-solver with attention to detail CIMA CA(SA) Minimum 3-5 years of FMCG experience Beverage and raw materials experience advantageous RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that focuses on providing candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions specifically tailored to their needs.
