Prepare monthly management and costing reports Analyze and review cost variances Analyzing financial performance of production department and identifying areas for improvement. Prepare financial budgets and forecasting of production units. Provide support to the Manager by coordinating and assisting in daily operational activities. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and procedures. Cost management reporting. Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate performance of production department and key metrics to management. Analyze data and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic planning. Ensure proper inventory control procedures are in place and assisting production department with inventory management Assist farm management with capital project management, budgeting/costing and planning Maintenance of asset registers and assisting farm management with asset maintenance and replacement planning Ensure authorized expenses are accurately captures and allocated in budgets. BCom degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting Completed Saica/Saipa Articles plus post article experience CIMA – Added advantage 5-7 years experience in agricultural management and cost accounting environment would be added advantage Strong Excel skills and experience Knowledge in Acumatica is added advantage Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving. Ability to analyze operational data, identify patterns or trends, and propose solutions or improvements. Valid Drivers license and willing to travel between farms (Hexrivier and Piketberg)
