Cost Estimator – We Offer merchandising display systems for the indoor advertising market. Our large client, based in City Deep, Johannesburg is currently looking for a multi-skilled Cost Estimator, to employ as soon as possible. MUST COME FROM THE SHOPFITTING INDUSTRY/ BACKGROUND TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Responsibilities: Preparing new cost estimations for fabrication of items on Pastel system (includes steel / acrylic / purchased buy-outs / powder coating) Updating existing cost estimations on Pastel system (includes steel / acrylic / purchased buy-outs / powder coating) Confirming & comparing of materials physically used vs cost estimations Manufacture fabrication of items on Pastel system accurately Overview of administration functions including quotations / filing / etc. Requirements: Must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time Work under pressure and very tight deadlines Strong attention to detail Technical understanding (must be able to interpret Technical Drawings) 3 years working experience as a Cost Estimator within Shopfitting Industry Working knowledge of Pastel Accounting The Position: We're looking for a Cost Estimator.
