Key Responsibilities:

Implement and oversee cost management systems.
Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for management.
Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategies and operational efficiency.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Travel frequently within Gauten
Maintenance of weekly and monthly product costings
Maintenance of product recipes and costings
Monthly inventory valuation reporting and analysis

Qualifications and Experience:

B Com degree in Cost & Management Accounting and/or professional accreditation with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
At least 4 years' proven experience in cost and management accounting in FMCG, agriculture or related industry.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.
Proficient in financial software and Excel. Meat Matrix highly advantageous.

Skills:

Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Additional Requirements:

Own car and valid drivers license, as the role involves significant travel.
Willingness to travel extensively across the Gauteng region and to Polokwane.
