Key Responsibilities:- Cost Analysis and Optimization: Conduct comprehensive cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Implement effective cost accounting methodologies to track expenses accurately and pinpoint cost drivers.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insightful analysis on cost trends and expenditure patterns. Monitor budget performance, conduct variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and provide clear financial insights to management.
- Process Improvement and Compliance: Continuously improve accounting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations, and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIMA) is preferred.
Experience in manufacturing background advantageous.
